Hattie is a stunningly beautiful woman and Simon G. is able to capture a feeling here that is just wonderful to look at. Soft, sexy and at the same time with a little wink of the eye (the socks) as I perceive it. Nicely lit with enough grain to the point where it melds with Hattie's freckles.
To think this was shot with a G10 (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong). I have to wonder if shot on film would there be a little more depth and contrast here to make a shot like this something you'd want hanging on your wall. Fleeting or everlasting art?
